- The first bike in Ridgeback's Terrain series is the MX4. The MX4 is a leisure orientated mountain bike and is where we would say that a decent bike begins. It is not quite up to the challenge of any 'real' trails but it is perfect for jaunts around parks, canal paths and the national cycle network. It features Shimano EZ fire gears, quick release alloy wheels and a light aluminium frmae. If you are looking for a bike to get get started on-this might be the perfect model for you
