Bike repair and service jobs from adjusting brakes or transmission systems to wheel building or major rebuilds are handled with speedy turnrounds at competitive prices. It is important to keep yur bike well maintained, it is safer, it will be more reliable and and will last longer.

When possible a quotation is provided, otherwise the client is contacted whilst the job is in progress to agree the action to be taken and the cost involved.

The bike service categories are as follows, but we always like to discuss your service requirements before we proceed with any work. All prices are approximate and will vary depending on the age, condition and type of your bike.

There is a minimum charge of £8.

Primary Service: Price £30 plus any parts. Checking and adjusting brakes and gears plus inspection of tyres and tyre inflation.

Main Service: Price £45 plus any parts. Includes a primary service plus inspection and adjustment of bearings and all nuts and bolts.

Full Service: Price £90 plus any parts. Includes the Main Service plus stripping down all bearings which can be serviced and then re-greased. Full road test with report.

If required we will collect and re-deliver your bike for a nominal fee.

Our workshops will service and repair any make of bike, handle all types of repair, major rebuilds and wheelbuilding. We are happy to give an estimate for any job not listed above.

We have been in the cycle trade over 25 years and the majority of our work is repeat  business because our aim is to satisfy clients in receiving their bikes back which are safe to ride and in good working order. If for any reason this cannot be achieved we always inform the owner of the problem/s encountered because safety is our paramount consideration in this field of work.

Lands End to John of Groats

Many riders of this ‘epic’ bike trip stop over in Clitheroe or the nearby Youth Hostel in Slaidburn and call at our shop for emergency running repairs as well as stocking up on spare parts and specialist food and drinks. We always provide a welcome and a fast turnround for these wonderful people on such an arduous adventure.
